Eat, drink, and be glorious.

Our Story

The Glorious Fig was born out of love for teaching, the desire to bring people together to create a connection centered around food, and a celebration of life’s most glorious moments.

The Fig’s founders, Deb and Gary Dietmeyer, are visionaries with the ability to make their dreams come to life. Their combined skill set coupled with their determination and follow-through lends to their magic.  Gary is an expert craftsman and builder; Deb, a trained artist, former public-school teacher, and top-selling REALTOR. This dynamic couple can envision, locate, design, and transform anything they acquire making them Grand Junction’s very-own Chip and Joanna Gaines.

In 2017, they purchased the property known today as The Glorious Fig. They learned the building and its premises would have to be completely transformed to meet public health guidelines, city codes, and ADA compliance. It wouldn’t be a simple feat—new electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling were needed. Additionally, a one-thousand-pound grease trap would be necessary and its installation would require a crane. Three years later, Deb and Gary are more than ready to enjoy their dream, share it with you, and celebrate its beginning as Grand Junction’s newest boutique event venue.

The Glorious Fig is a tribute to the heart of home and the intimacy and sense of belonging it brings through gathering. By capturing life’s most glorious moments through intimate gatherings, celebratory drinks, and classic food made in-house, you are invited to let your guard down and enjoy flavors and food you won’t soon forget among friends and family you love.

Our Vision

To be the premiere brand in Colorado that brings the heart of home to life and celebrates the importance of gathering and laughter by creating boutique events centered around excellent service, joy in learning, signature drinks, and classic food made in-house.
